Since 15 years the BASAMO is established in the Nürnberger Straße as a restaurant, a place to meet people and a club for music events.

Get spoiled by African food, exotic drinks and join original sounds of Africa. The "GALERIE" is upstairs above the CAFE. There you can order drinks and food too. From April until September the BEERGARDEN (Outdoor-Cafe) is opened. Downstairs in the MUSICAVE are given lots of parties, life-concerts and dance-nights. We are willing to rent to you the Musicave and the Beergarden for your own private parties. If you do that, we have special prices for meal, drinks and cocktails. In case you are looking for a party with more than 10 people, we are going to sponsor you a bottle of sparkling wine.

The origin of the word BASAMO is the name of an island called Basaruto (BASA) and from the country Mocambique (MO) which is more south. And Jerry (the General Manager of the BASAMO) was born on this Island close to Mocambique.
